Indian bike maker Baja Auto has launched the updated 2021 Bajaj Platina 100 ES in the Indian market. It is priced at Rs. 53,920/- (ex-showroom).
Cocktail Wine Red and Ebony Black are the two paint choices for the commuter motorcycle. Bajaj Auto claims the 2021 Bajaj Platina 100 ES is the most affordable Electric-Start motorcycle in the market. The bike is offered in two colour options namely – Ebony Black and Cocktail Wine Red.
The Platina 100 ES boasts of a few new features which includes a spring-in-spring suspension system. As per the company this new suspension setup provides better ride comfort for the rider and pillion.
Redesigned rear view mirrors add to the bike’s styling while also enhancing visibility. Tubeless tyres, 20 percent longer front and rear suspension, a long bench, LED DRL, and large rubber footpads for improved grip are among the other changes.

The 102cc single-cylinder engine in the Platina 100 produces 7.9 PS of power at 7500 RPM and 8.34 Nm of torque at 5500 RPM. It comes with a four-speed transmission.
Bajaj Auto is also getting ready to launch the 110 edition of the Platina with ABS, which will come with a slew of new features and cosmetic changes.
