BMW C 400 GT Maxi-Scooter Launched in India – Most Expensive Scooter in the Country

BMW Motorrad India has launched the all-new BMW C 400 GT in the Indian market. The new BMW C 400 GT is the most awaited premium mid-size scooter and it has been brought to India as a completely built-up unit (CBU), i.e. the scooter has been imported to India. Thanks to the high import duties, the new BMW C 400 GT is the most expensive scooter currently on sale in the country. The new BMW C 400 GT has been launched in India at Rs 9.95 lakhs, Ex-showroom New Delhi. The bookings for this premium maxi-scooter are now open and it can be booked at all BMW Motorrad India dealerships located across the country.

BMW C 400 GT Maxi-Scooter Engine Specs

The new BMW C 400 GT is powered by a newly developed Euro 5 / BS6 compliant water-cooled, single-cylinder, four-stroke engine with a displacement of 350cc. This BS6 motor generates a peak power output of 34 HP (25 kW) at 7500 RPM and a maximum torque of 35 Nm at 5750 RPM to deliver a supreme level of engine performance. The company claims that the new BMW C 400 GT can reach from 0-100 kmph in just 9.5 seconds and this maxi-scooter can achieve a maximum speed of over 139 kmph. The scooter is paired to a CVT box to deliver smooth performance and entrance maximum possible fuel efficiency.

The new BMW C 400 GT is based on a rugged tubular steel frame that enhances its overall handling and directional stability at high speeds and the robustness required for day-to-day use. The maxi-scooter gets telescopic forks at the front and two spring-loaded shock absorbers at the rear with generous spring travel of 112mm. The scooter gets a 15-inch tyre at the front and a 14-inch tyre at the rear. For braking duties, it gets a high-performance braking system with twin discs at the front, a single disc at the rear and BMW Motorrad ABS as standard to ensure maximum safety. In terms of features, it gets a large 6.5-inch full-colour TFT screen with BMW Motorrad Connectivity App. It gets BMW Motorrad Multi-Controller too.

The new BMW C 400 GT has been launched in India at Rs 9.95 lakhs, Ex-showroom New Delhi, and it is the most expensive scooter on sale in the Indian market. The BMW C 400 GT doesn’t have any direct rivals in India and it is surely an exclusive premium maxi-scooter.
