Hyundai i20 N Line – Launch Date and Price
The new Hyundai i20 N Line will be launched in India on September 2, 2021. The bookings for the new Hyundai i20 N Line are already open in the country and it will be sold exclusively via Hyundai’s premium Signature dealership outlets. The standard Hyundai i20 is currently priced up to Rs 11.40 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi and the upcoming N Line version might charge around Rs 1 lakh premium over the standard model. So, one can expect the upcoming new Hyundai i20 N Line to be priced in India around Rs 12.49 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi. It won’t have any direct rivals in the country.
Hyundai i20 N Line vs Standard Hyundai i20 – Top Differences
The new Hyundai i20 N Line is a sporty version of the standard i20 and it will be the new top-end variant in the i20’s India line-up. Here are some key differentiating factors between the new Hyundai i20 N Line and the regular i20:
- A sportier design with more aggressive bumpers.
- A front splitter and new side skirts with red accents.
- New sporty seats with N Line badge all around.
- Red sporty accents inside the cabin and on the dashboard.
- A re-tuned suspension (30 per cent stiffer than the regular i20).
- Disc brakes for all four wheels (regular i20 gets drums at the rear).
- 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels with the N logo.
- 0-100kmph in 9.9 seconds (claimed).
Hyundai i20 N Line – Engine Specifications
The new Hyundai i20 N Line will draw power from a BS6 compliant 1.0-litre GDi turbo petrol engine. This turbo petrol motor will churn out around 120 PS of maximum power and 172 Nm of peak torque. This BS6 engine will come mated to a 6-speed iMT (Intelligent Manual Transmission) and a 7-speed DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission). However, there will be no manual transmission on offer. This is the same turbo petrol engine that does its duty in the regular i20 turbo too.
Hyundai i20 N Line – Colour Variants and Warranty
The new Hyundai i20 N Line will be available in Blue, Grey, Red and White paint schemes. It will also get two-tone paint schemes like Red with Black Roof and Blue with Black Roof. Hyundai Motor India Private Limited will offer the Wonder Warranty Scheme with this car under which one can get up to 5 years of warranty and 3 years roadside assistance for their new Hyundai i20 N Line.
