Honda Two-wheelers India has recently launched the new Honda CBR 650R middle-weight fully-faired sports bike in the Indian market. Highlight 1: Design – The new Honda CBR 650R is a gorgeous fully-faired supersport motorcycle. It gets a sharp design and up front, it sports twin LED headlamps along with an aerodynamic design for the visor. The fully-faired design and the body graphics on the bike look nice and it gets a split seat set-up with a LED tail lamp at the rear. It gets LED turn indicators. The new CBR 650R is available in two colours. They are Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic and Grand Prix Red.
Highlight 2: Engine Performance – The all-new Honda CBR 650R draws power from a Euro 5 compliant 648.72cc, four-cylinder, oil-cooled, fuel-injected engine. This Euro 5 compliant motor pumps out 87 PS of power at 12,000 RPM and 57.5 Nm of peak torque at 8500 RPM and offers great performance. The engine is paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox.

Highlight 3: Suspension and Brakes – The Honda CBR 650R gets Showa Separate Function Big Piston (SFF BP) upside-down forks up front that is adjustable for spring preload and a mono-shock absorber at the rear which gets 7-step adjustability. It also gets dual disc brakes at the front and a single disc unit at the rear along with dual-channel ABS.

Highlight 4: Tyres and Features – The new Honda CBR 650R gets 17-inch tubless tyres with alloy wheels. The front tyre measures 120/70-17 M/C 58W and the rear one measures 180/55-17 M/C 73W. It gets features like an LED headlamp with LED DRLs, LED turn indicators and LED tail lamp, dual-channel ABS, slip & assist clutch, Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) or traction control. There is also an LCD display with a negative backlit that shows a host of information.
