Skoda Kushaq Deliveries To Start From July 12th

Skoda India is all set to launch and reveal the prices of its new compact SUV Kushaq on June 28, 2021.Deliveries of the Skoda Kushaq will begin on July 12th, 2021, according to Zac Hollis, Director, Sales and Marketing Head, Skoda India. The upcoming Skoda Kushaq will be available with a 1.0-litre TSI turbo petrol engine that produces 115 PS and 178 Nm of peak torque. The Czech carmaker will also introduce a more powerful variant which will be powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol motor, sometime in August. As a result, the Skoda Kushaq will be the most powerful SUV in its class. 

It will be available in three trim levels in the Indian market namely – Active, Ambition, and Style. The Skoda Kushaq will be the first model to be built on the MQB AO IN platform. This platform was created with the Indian market in mind. The carmaker stated that their goal for the yet to be launched SUV is to attain a localization level of 95%. It will compete directly with Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos in the Indian market. Prices for the Kushaq are expected to start from Rs.10 lakh (ex-showroom) and go all the way up to Rs.15 lakh (ex-showroom). 

The Skoda Kushaq will be equipped with a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, among other features. A wireless charging pad, a 12V power socket, two USB type C ports, an electronic sunroof, and ambient lighting will all be included. The infotainment unit can be used to adjust the ambient lighting feature. Multiple airbags, automatic headlights, type pressure monitoring system, Isofix rear seats, electronic stability control, rain-sensing wipers, hill hold control, and other safety technologies are included in the new Skoda SUV. The SUV will be available in five colour options: Brilliant Silver, Carbon Steel, Candy White, Honey Orange, and Tornado Red.
