India’s leading automotive brand, Tata Motors, today announced the launch of the i-Turbo variant of its premium hatchback, Altroz, along with iRA-connected car technology. Along with natural voice software, iRA comes with 27 connected car features, through which the car understands commands not only in English or Hindi, but also in Hinglish. In addition, it is India’s first hatchback to adopt What3Words technology, an accurate and unique tool that makes it easier to navigate than ever. The Company has also introduced to the Altroz family a new top of the XZ+ line variant in petrol and diesel fuel options. These additions make the Altroz a more attractive package with class-leading characteristics. Launched at an enticing introductory ex-showroom price of Rs. 7.73 lakhs, it commands a premium of Rs. 60, 000 over the Altroz Revotron petrol models.
The first ALFA architecture product, Tata Altroz, has received a tremendous response since its launch in January 2020. .The Altroz i-Turbo, a power and feature packed car, has been launched by Tata Motors to celebrate the success of the brand on its first anniversary. In spite of the Covid challenge, during its first year of launch, the company sold more than 50,000 Altroz hatchbacks , a testament to its popularity. India’s safest hatchback has also raised the bar and set #TheGoldStandard in safety, design and driving dynamics with a 5 star safety rating from Global NCAP.

The Altroz i-Turbo is introduced in a new Harbour Blue colour, which is available on XM+ models, fitted with new technology and the 1.2L turbocharged BS6 petrol engine. Altroz i-Turbo offers a torque of 140 Nm @ 1500- 5500 rpm with power of 110 PS @ 5500 rpm, which guarantees an enjoyable driving experience. In addition, the Sport/City Multi Drive Modes offer a great mix of excitement and thrill driving the Altroz. The 2021 Altroz will also be sporting the latest Black and Light Grey interiors accentuated with perforated leatherette seats to boost its premium quotient.
